Martin and Ole were amongst the first who came

Ida helped out in the kitchen. We made A LOT of scrambled eggs.

With Anders and Ingrid.

More than 20 people were invited to the breakfast

Which meant queing to get into the kitchen.

Waiting for breakfast...

someone's hungry

We all finished our breakfasts and went over to the town centre to watch the parade. Martin looking sleepy/grumpy.

Øystein and I met up with his parents, behind him to the left.

After watching the parade, we brought out the bubbly :)

very serious

very sursprised...?

Ingvild looking playful in her Romsdalsbunad.

Smiling with Øyvind, who owns and lives in our flat.

The two Romsdalinger. :P

The four cakes we made. clockwise from the front: my carrot cake, our strawberry and cream cake(which turned out to be twice as high as we had expected), Ingvild's 'world's best' (no kidding, the norwegian name) and Ingvild's amazing cheeze cake.

Posing with the huge cake.

Aww. Aren't they cute?

Tough guy Martin and sweetheart Andreas.

Øystein and Andreas caught out there, with their laptops.

Boys just wanna have fun

some boys however were feeling sleepy

and didn't mind having a midafternoon nap

..... Whilst others were busy cleaning up.

Martin relaxing after all that cake

Bodhild tucking into the customary 17th of May-hot dog.

Bodhild and Lars Erik

Andreas, Øystein and I went to watch the fireworks by the Lille Lungegårds-lake at eleven o'clock.

The Mayor of Bergen is a rather extravagant businessmogul-turned-politician. Hence the fireworks :)
